OPEN TENDER (PRS )
Sub: Open tender for Single - window Maintenance contract
for all equipments of PRS peripherals of all PRS locations over S.E.Rly.
Sealed open tenders are invited for the above mentioned work with the following documents and eligibility criteria.

3 | Earnest Money | Rs. 11,530/- (Rupees Eleven Thousand five hundred thirty only). |
4 | AMC Period | Initially for one year, to be renewed on yearly basis if satisfied on accepted rate. |
The prescribed non - transferable Tender Form are available for sale from the office of the Chief Commercial Manager, South Eastern Railway, 14, Strand Road (8th floor ), Kolkata � 700001 on remittance of cost of Tender Forms (non - refundable) either by Crossed DP drawn in favour of FA & CAO, S.E.Rly. Garden Reach on any Nationalized /Schedules Bank payable at Kolkata or in the form of Money Receipt issued by Chief Cashier , South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach in support of deposition of requisite money with him. Cost of tender documents should be deposited under Allocation No. Z / 650 . Time duration for purchasing Tender Form is from 03. 09.2007 to 01.10.2007 during to working hours from 11.00 to 18.00 hrs. on all working days except Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
The sale of Tender Form will be closed at 15.00hrs. on 01.10.2007. The Tender documents are also available at S.E. Rly �s website www.serailway. gov. in Purchasers who intend to collect the Tender forms by post should send one self addressed registered envelope along with the requisite Demand Draft towards cost of tender form. Railway will not be responsible for postal loss / delay or for delay caused due to incorrect and incomplete address. Railway will not be responsible for any transit delay whatsoever on any account.
Filled up tender form should be dropped in the prescribed Tender Box kept at the office of Chief Commercial Manager, S.E. Rly, 14, Strand Road(8th floor) , New Koilaghat Building , Koklkata 700001 up to 15.00 hrs on 01.10.2007 and the same will be opened at 16.00 hrs. on 01.10.2007 in the presence of Tenderer so present at the time of opening of the Tender. If the office is closed on the Stipulated date and time due to some un accounted holiday or Bandh etc. the tender papers will be received and opened on the next working day at the same time .
The tender must be submitted along with the prescribed amount of Earnest Money as mentioned in the tender documents. Tender without the cost of tender documents and earnest money will be considered as invalid
Eligibility Criteria for the above work :-
1.The Tender(s) should quote their fixed annual price for comprehensive AMC which includes replacement of spare for maintenance of peripherals.
2. Tender(s) must have completed from start to finish , in the last three financial year (i.e. current year and three previous financial years) at least one similar single work, for a minimum value of 35% of the Advertised Tender Value of the work.
3. Total contract amount received during the last 3 financial years and in the current financial year should be a minimum of 150% of advertised Tender Value. Tender Committee would satisfy themselves about the authenticity of the certificates produced by the tender(s) to this effect which may be an attested certificate from the employer / clients / Audited Balance Sheet duly certified by the Registered Chartered Accountant etc.
4. The tender(s) should have a strong presence in the geographical location under S.E.Rly mainly covering the states of West Bengal , Orissa and Jharkhand (at least 50% coverage) by existing technical personnel doing similar nature of work.
Documents to be submitted alongwith tender.
The following documents should be submitted along with tender:-
1.List of machinery available on hand (own) and proposed to be inducted (own and hired to be given separately).
1List of work completed in the last 3 financial years given descriptions of work, organization for whom executed approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of actual start, actual completion and final value of contract should also be given.
2List of works on hand indicating description of work, contract value, approximate value of balance work yet to be done and date of award.
Note :-
(a) Notwithstanding the eligibility criteria being satisfied , Railway reserve the right to reject / accept the tender after considering the various circumstances of the individual case.
(a)Certificates issued by Govt. / Semi Govt. / Govt. undertaking will only be considered
(b)Similar nature of works physically completed within the qualifying period i.e. the last 3 financial years and current financial year should only be considered in evaluating the eligibility criteria.
(c)For identical rates by tender in a particular tender, tender will be awarded to the tender, who is having better part credentials for executing similar nature of work and / or based on his performance report.
