ALL INDIA RAILWAYS WOMEN’S HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP 2017-18 INAUGURATED AT RANCHI

Kolkata, 28th December, 2017:

            The 39th All India Railways Women’s Hockey Championship organized by South Eastern Railway Sports Association(SERSA) was inaugurated at Astro Turf Hockey Ground, Hatia, Ranchi today(28.12.2017).

            Shri Anirban Datta, Addl.General Manager, South Eastern Railway inaugurated the Meet while eminent sports personnel and distinguished guests attended the programme.

            9 Zonal Railways & Production Units viz. South Eastern Railway, Northern Railway, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, East Central Railway, Central Railway, Western Railway, North Eastern Railway, Rail Coach Factory(RCF) and North Central Railway are participating in the 6-day Meet.

            As many as 200 Women Hockey Players with National and International repute are seen in the action.  The concluding and prize giving ceremony will be held o­n 02.01.2018.
