NATIONAL INTEGRATION PLEDGE TAKEN
AND QUAMI EKTA WEEK TO BE OBSERVED BY S.E.RAILWAY
Kolkata, 18th November, 2011:-
Shri A.K. Verma, General Manager, South Eastern Railway administered the National Integration Pledge to all Officers and Staff of South Eastern Railway at its Headquarters, Garden Reach today(18.11.11). As a part of observance of Quami Ekta Week, Officers and Staff of S.E.Railway took pledge to work with dedication to preserve and strengthen the freedom and integrity of the Nation. S.E.Railway employees took oath of not resorting to violence and to continue to make endeavour towards settlement of all differences and disputes relating to religion, language, region or other political or economic grievances by peaceful and constitutional means.
Shri Pramod Kumar, Addl. General Manager, Shri M. Akhtar, Chief Personnel Officer, other Principal Officers and a large number of staff of S.E.Railway were present at the oath taking ceremony.
Quami Ekta Week will be observed at Head Quarters and Divisional Offices of South Eastern Railway from 19th to 25th November, 2011.
